Customer Reviews
All in all I had a good experience so far. Although hardly no hotel in Fredericksburg that I could find has a weekly rate, it's all by the night. I travel extensively and perfure to pay weekly, practically live in hotels 10 out of the 12 months.Though one doesn't get the rewards, it can be a better deal. Excellent service and of course there are always some kind of issues with any hotel room. For the most part I'm not one to nick pick and try and find something wrong. If you want a comfortable bed, nice clean room with no bugs that bite, and great service this one has just that. If you want to pay an arm and a leg just to lay your head down then more power to you. This hotel is reasonably priced and is quite comfortable. Good location and no traffic noise. Within walking distance of several restaurants and shopping.
Possibly the most unhygienic hotel I've ever stayed in. Firstly I get it, you get what you pay for but this was downright unacceptable. We were first placed in room 104. The smell in that room was atrocious...was it smoke... feces... death?? Either way my nose immediately started to burn and had a headache. The floor was filthy the shower faucet was broken the front door handle was broken. We had our two toddlers with us and no way could we stay in the room. My husband politely asked the front desk if we could switch rooms... we were able to and moved to room 202. At first everything was fine. Room smelled clean and seemed ok. On closer inspection there was urine in the toilet. The shower was peeling, there was blood on a pillow and the sink counter. My husband cleaned the counter and we didn't use the pillow... it was whatever at that point. We had just driven 5 hours and needed somewhere to sleep. So I'll never stay here again. Positives are the service was good and it's walking distance downtown. Pics are of room 202.
I got what I paid for. Wanted cheap, clean and convenient to downtown Fred night life. Yes the rooms need updating, but bed and sheets were comfortable and hot water plentiful. Will definitely stay again!
Nice people. Rooms could be cleaner. Floors weren't cleaned. Had to wipe down the floor with a wet towel, because my feet were so dirty from walking on the floors barefoot.
What can I say about this hotel. As soon as we entered we felt that the room was not clean. The wooden floors were dirty, the bed sheets were dirty with stains and we noticed a couple of cockroaches. There was one dead in the fridge too!! We checked in late and were extremely exhausted and just crashed in our beds ignoring all this. But few minutes later we were woken up by BED BUGS!. There were plenty of it and we couldn't sleep the whole night. This was a bad bad place. Never staying again here ever.
