Super 8 by Wyndham Janesville

Paid by credit card like requested they pulled my money out of my account and won’t even give me my room because the card is pending transaction but the money was taken off my card. Sitting here waiting for the cops now. Amber who sits behind the desk will STEAL your money. Amber also had her husband standing at the front desk the whole time talking. Amber pursued to call me and say haha got your money after we were asked to leave by the cops off her personal number. This hotel is very unprofessional and I would NOT recommend.

This is one of the few two-star hotels I have stayed in. The hygiene is OK, but the disadvantage is that there are no toiletries and slippers.

Nothing special. Fine for a place to sleep. Be aware, no elevator.

Decent location, but the service and the rooms are a disgrace. The guy that assisted with check in was unkempt and had some bad body odor. Never got his name and he didn't wear a name tag. He didn't even mention the breakfast hours or anything. He was very short with me and gave 1 or 2 word responses to my questions. You could tell he wanted to be anywhere, but here. The room smelled bad (but not as bad as the front desk guy) and, as another reviewer pointed out, the toilet was the shortest one I've seen in my life. Like, crazy short. This place needs a complete remodel, at least the interior. If the owner reads this review, the date of check-in was August 22, 2023 at about 8:30PM. That should give you an idea of who that staff member was so you can take appropriate action.

Disgusting rooms, bugs everywhere, staff are rude. Please stay anywhere else in Janesville lol Edit after reply: We actually spoke to management twice during our stay and were directed to the third party that we booked through. That third party reached out to Super 8 directly and they denied any refund for the night that we didn't stay because of the bugs. Nice to see they lie publicly as well!
