Super 8 by Wyndham Oroville

As an economy hotel chain some folks may have their assumptions, but in my experience, I was treated very well by the employees here who promptly resolved any issue I had. When there is an issue with one room, they moved me to another. When I needed something that was within their power to take care of they were there to make sure I was satisfied.

As this is not a holiday inn or such, the value and certain amenities are way better than the brand names. Had a great messaging shower, to which a lot of name brand hotels don't even have a good water pressure much less different shower head settings. But be aware of the hot water, it's really hot and felt good on my back. 😁😁

Every 2 star hotel I have ever been to has been better than this 3 star hotel. We never did get a key to our room, we had to have the person at the front desk let us in our room every time we went anywhere. There were no towels in the room. One bed had 2 half sized pillows the other had 1. There were a couple of packs to make coffee but no coffee maker, a ironing board with no iron. The room was big and looked clean. The lady behind the counter was friendly.

First off the young Lady that checked me in was fabulous, great attitude and very pleasant to speak with. I was acquiring a room for a few days so that my daughter can come down and spend Christmas with me. She assured me that my daughter would be safe and if there's anything that she needs to come see her.

The king room was ok, bed was comfy and it all appeared clean at first glance. The reason for three stars is because the lotion container on the wall was completely splattered with the previous guests makeup. Gross! Management really needs to supervise their housekeeping better! Also, don't expect breakfast unless you only want a waffle because that's the ONLY item they provide for breakfast.
