Room was only slightly above freezing when we got there. Heater stayed on all night and the room was finally warm by morning. Other than that, everything was great! Getting back into the North bound highway involved a bit of navigation.
Stayed here last minute due to a winter storm we had. Managed to get a room last minute and the owners were very nice and helpful. The heater was broken in our room and they tried to fix it but couldn't. So they came and brought us a brand new heater for our room! They provide juice , tea and coffee in the morning. I would come back here! The room and bathroom were also very clean.
This hotel is nasty. For a place concerned about people smoking, they should really take care of that smell in the lobby. It smells like someone hasn’t showered in a very very long time mixed with cigarette smoke. The rooms had mold, toilet was still dirty, whatever they cleaned the sheets with made my skin itch, 112 for a night with no breakfast (like it is still advertised on the website) included is expensive af, and people were screaming and arguing the whole night. Also who has nobody at their front desk ?
I been here for a week cool place to stay ..no breakfast but it don't bother me I'm just dare to sleep .the rooms look remodel and great .friendly staff idk why is alot of bad reviews here ...is way the opposite of what is mentioned. 5 stars for me ,I always travel been tru different hotels.and this one pretty cool ..it tells you their rules straight forward when u walk in in a sign ..but awesome 👌 place
They need to improve a lot to better the guests experience. They need also to bring back the breakfast. For a no breakfast stay it is a little expensive. Overall, if you stayed here 18yrs ago or so, there is no difference now, only no breakfast. Same rooms, same smell, no breakfast and the fans in the bathrooms need some upgrades or at least some grease. I guess this is what fishermen get, since they can take bad weather and s***ty weather conditions!
