The bathroom needs some repairs on the sink area. The rooms were decent, and the air was cold. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and I slept well. It's a dated hotel, with very few outlets for chargers. Comfortable enough.
Allminor things aside, this was a cozy little place, and without comparing it to other places it wasn't a bad experience. If you need a cheap place to stay, and you can get there, it's worth it for a nicely kept, safe, clean room. Now... Onto the small complaints: Breakfast? It was coffee, yogurt, and pre-packaged muffins/danishes. I was dying of thirst and couldn't even get a water. Luckily the hotel in in the same parking lot at a McDonald's, and a Wal-Mart, so there are off-site options that are close by, but this was a bit of an annoyance. Other than that, imagine you've just driven 300 miles, and it's late at night, your GPS usage has drained the battery on your phone and you just need to get some rest and recharge your phone. Most hotels make that pretty easy, with light fixtures with A/C outlets in them, or USB chargers built in. Not here! Not only did they not have any designated areas for additional power, they didn't have enough for the coffee maker in the room. The power cable was just dangling, nowhere near an outlet. I had to move the television and unplug a lamp to find a place to plug in my phone. Insane. On top of that the safe in the room was locked... so I guess someone else had some goodies in there that they forgot.
So super friendly ... I needed to stay on the main floor cause I have a hard time climbing stairs...they helped me with my stuff cause I walk with a cane.. I had also booked 2 separate days back to back and they just kept me in the same room and they did all the check out and check in for me ... Very stress-free environment... I will chose to book with super 8 by windom again ...the desk clerks are amazing ... And a special shout out to night clerk Mindy
It's was ok, room just a room, i got a good night sleep, was only here for one night, the only negative thing I would say is to wake up in the morning and about to shower when I see a big spider crawling down the bathtub wall. If you want breakfast McDonald's is right next door.
Stayed here for about 6 hours just to sleep and if it was any longer I would’ve probably left. It was relatively clean, but everything was old, worn, or broke. The AC was broken and so loud that I had to turn it off to sleep. The TV was also broken and only the welcome channel worked. They need to do some maintenance and upgrades here.
