This campground is in a great place! You are within minutes of some of the best trails in Canyonlands and Moab! The campground has a toilet for each campsite, although not cared for. We will definitely be back to this site for future adventures!
Bring your firewood and your lawn chair and be prepared for shock and awe of the constellations. The most wonderous night sky I have ever seen! Had to get out my constellation map and figure it out. The campground is primitive. Another words bring enough water. But everyone is courteous. It's government so Interagency Senior passes apply. (From 15$ down to 7.50$. Its a fair price!) Close to the Canyonlands entrance.
Great public campground to access either Canyonlands or Indian Creek. Unlike most federally managed campgrounds these days, most of the sites are first-come, first-serve. There is zero cell signal in the campground and for several miles around it, making it a perfect place to literally unplug. There's a bulletin board for meeting up with other climbers near the entrance and there's almost always someone to look up with if you're solo. Toilets are very basic, bring your own TP just in case. There's no trash pickup, do be prepared to pack it out.
Great place to camp and utv riding. Beautiful country.
Nice, quiet BLM campground. Would stay here again.
