SureStay Plus by Best Western Gatlinburg

The rooms were very nice and very clean. We could sit on the balcony over the river and relax. The bed was very soft and the way it was decorated was beautiful! The staff was so friendly and helpful. This will be our new place to stay while in Gatlinburg! And we even got breakfast and coffee!

This is a great place to stay. Our rooms were clean and smelled just fine. The balconies are wonderful to sit and read and listen to the river. We saw 3 black bear and it was so exciting. The breakfast was delicious with eggs, sausage, toast, pastries, and juice. Front office staff was welcoming but we did not need them for anything because the rooms were perfect and everything was in working order. It is so close to the main strip of Gatlinburg so we did not have to worry about paying for parking. At night it was quiet and peaceful. This is one of the best weekend trips we have ever had and will return again to this property. Give this property a chance, I know there are some bad reviews in the past but apparently they have read the reviews and made changes to reflect excellent service and clean rooms. The beds are very very comfortable and we slept great. The shower is luxurious, tall and plenty of hot water. I would urge you to stay at this property.

We checked out within an hour of arriving. There were bed lice, spider webs and bugs in the room! The table and other surfaces were not clean. The carpet was dirty. The toilet did not flush… when we asked for help, we got a plunger and a “I don’t care attitude “. We even found blood splattered on the ceiling in the bathroom. Do not stay here!!!!! Follow up: The hotel is not refunding our money even though the room was completely unacceptable and we did not stay!

Great spot. Don’t judge too quickly. Service was great. Room very clean. Location was great. Free breakfast was acceptable. River view was nice. I have stayed in Marriott’s that didn’t turn out this nice.

Room was very clean with a balcony overlooking the river. A 5-minute walk from many bars and restaurants. We saw bears on that walk. The bed was very comfortable. They serve a hot breakfast. A great value and I will return.
