SureStay Plus by Best Western Redding

My wife and I stayed here on a road trip back home from Cali to Oregon. The location was perfect as it was right off the freeway and close to Safeway and a handful of food places. We picked up a bottle of wine from Safeway, tacos from Hora Del Taco, and made our way to the hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by Emelita at the front counter, she was very kind and inviting. When we mentioned our road trip and how tired we were, she recommended a room with a king size bed and a jetted tub inside the room. We gladly accepted and took the room. It was WORTH IT. We ate our food, hopped in the tub and watched a movie while sipping on our wine. It was the perfect stopping point in the middle of our trip and couldn’t have been more relaxing. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was VERY comfortable. My only criticism is the pillows are quite small and not super fluffy.. but most hotels are like this; so I always bring my own pillow with me. In the morning they have a full breakfast room with eggs, sausage, toast, muffins, juice, fruit, and even a griddle to make waffles! When we do another road trip to Cali, we will for sure be staying here again. Thank you Emelita!

I can’t say enough great things about my experience at SureStay Best Western in Redding, CA! Emilta, the service rep, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of amazing. She was professional, kind, and made check-in a breeze. She even took the time to compare discounts (AAA vs. Best Western) and secured us the best deal. To top it off, she surprised us with an incredible room upgrade. Hot Tub Room w/ Balcony - At six months pregnant, this was the first time I could fully submerge my body in a tub at a temperature I could control and just relax—it was pure bliss. The room was spotless, the breakfast was delicious, and the overall experience exceeded every expectation. Thank you, Emilta, and the team at SureStay, for making this a stay to remember! Disappointed in this facility as a whole. We have stayed at well over 100 Beat Westerns and never had someone be so unaccommodating during check in. The person acted like they didn't work for Best Western just did check in. Made me feel uncomfortable. Beds were comfortable rooms kind of dated and dirty. Breakfast was ok a lot of stuff was old and stale. Do not like the milk being used by all there was pet hair in it. If you need a quick sleep it's right off the 5 but don't expect anything more.

Hotel is a bit outdated and worn but fine if you're objective is to get some sleep and continue on. Beds were comfy and the area is easy to access from the freeway. The pool is nice and kid approved. The area it's in is unimpressive and your stuck with mostly fast food options for dining out. The breakfast consisted of lower quality highly processed foods, healthy options lacking. Some of the side guest access doors didn't close properly presenting a security risk.

Clean hotel in a quiet part of Redding. My room smelled good and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure. Cleaning staff and desk staff were very nice. Can't beat the price, either.
