Better hotels in the area for the price I paid. Got in close to midnight for a few hours sleep while the highways closed was closed. Had a shower and noticed the water wouldn’t drain. Got up in the morning and the tub was still draining so I had to stand in shin high cold water from the night before. Washrooms are outdated and rough around the edges. Rooms are not very soundproof and people above you can keep you up all night. Even though the hotel wasn’t full, it seemed all visitors were congested in one section of the hotel where they could’ve been spread out to help with noise.

There was availability when we needed to stop after a long day of driving. Outdoor access rooms are helpful while travelling with a fur buddy, and there was a grassy courtyard type area around the pool building for potty breaks. The room we had unfortunately had ants in the bathroom, and the hotel is located adjacent to a railroad which was quite disruptive throughout the night. The Complimentary breakfast was sufficient - the lovely attendant was kind and approachable. Waffles, sausage, eggs , cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt etc were available. As a vegetarian there were enough options to choose from. Another guest with gluten and dairy allergies did not have many options but was informed to notify the front desk upon arrival of any allergies so they can be accommodated - which was informative. The location gets 5 stars due to the proximity to Starbucks and Mr. Mike's - within a 1 minute walk! Helpful when you need a quick bite and/or caffeine fix that isn't of hotel standard.

I was on my way to pick up friends for a wedding and picked this hotel as it was on my route to get them. The hotel was located in the perfect place. I was expecting slightly better from this hotel as the one that I usually deal with in Alberta is cheaper and the value for the cost is *WAY* better. I realise that the hot tub not working and the leaking toilet in my room are not really things that are major deal breakers, however, I would have expected to have been warned about the hot tub. Honestly, I don't think I would book at this specific hotel again without the hot tub.

The breakfast was decent the ladies running the breakfast were awesome.The pool was a little cold and the hot tub jets were not very powerful room was decent small bathroom tho.this particular hotel works in apinch

Ive just checked in to the room and was extremely disappointed to find the room in an unacceptable state of cleanliness. Specifically: - Hair is present in every corner and throughout the room - A large stain is visible on the couch - Dust and dirt cover most surfaces like the light cover, window sills, fan in bathroom. After a 12-hour drive and given the late hour right now, I was looking forward to a comfortable rest. Unfortunately, the condition of the room makes me hesitant to touch anything. Also, train right behind us running almost hourly. Was not told about this when booked directly with hotel. Do not recommend.
