Have been to Surveyors Lake several times for camping. Camp sites are spacious and reasonably segregated so you're not starting directly at your neighbors. Facilities with running water, flush toilets and hot showers can be found in several locations so this is a great place for those who aren't quite ready to rough it. The lake is wonderful to swim in on hot summer days and often has loons calling out at sunrise. There's also a hidden lake with native painted turtles that you can usually see sunning on dead trees. Our last trip was in the fall and there were plenty of caterpillars too. Lots to see and do for all ages.

Beautiful clean grounds with clean facilities, pit & flush toilets available. The shower was with hot water:) Great space between camp spots for privacy. Access to the lake can be hard on those NOT able to descend or ascend the walk to the water. SO heads up on those with lots to carry OR unable! Better signage of "Surveyors Lake" would be helpful off the highway as I was taking on a much longer drive to find out it was IN the Provincial Park campground:( As well the campground map is confusing?! Upon arrival & departure I made unnecessary tours thru out the grounds?! SO for myself, NOT well marked! Otherwise a beautiful experience with my family:)

Our favourite campground, we try to make it an annual visit to camp here for a week at least. Very family/kid friendly, the sites are spacious, there is water/washroom access everywhere and the beach is very close with boat/watercraft rentals. The wasps were a little crazy this year, but other than that nothing to complain about.
