A small BLM campground with plenty of shade from the ponderosas and easily accessible from Susanville. 15 min drive from main city. Theres many deep ruts as you enter so be mindful where you drive, also a single broken picnic table

Great campground off of the road. Road is a little washed out but there's a big area to the left that was flat. We were able to fit our camper here. Would definitely return.

The dispersed campground is right off the highway, so highway noise can be an issue. Some deep ruts were still present from winter in several of the spots for campers. For a free spot it fills the need and the community of Susanville is minutes away.

Great spot. We got in with a 44’ 5th wheel, but my husband is a magician at parking with this monster. Trees, low branches, eroded dirt road not for the faint of heart. Table still broken- we had our own. We picked up some old trash laying around.

Nice little spot after picking up about 25 lbs of trash scattered about, to include (but not limited to) small liquor bottles, empty cigarette packages, used narcan container, a lot of paper towels used as toilet paper and broken glass. Spent one night and found another empty pack of smokes and several empty small liquor bottles again in the morning. At least whoever it was partied quietly. If these individuals continue coming around I would not recommend for small children or pets who would want to explore and whatnot. Note to local LEO's- when facing the spot from highway, back left hand corner is where it seems the druggies/drunks like to hang out.

Very rutted dirt road so would be terrible after a rain but it was passable with several spots to camp. No facilities but was clean overall. Spent a very quiet, peaceful night.
