A great place to camp for a few nights. It was clean, and the hosts were friendly. We saw the last few minutes of a movie when we came, but unfortunately, our timing didn’t give us the opportunity to see one the following night. No pool here, and not a ton to do, but it was a safe place to camp. The sites were adequate, and the patios with privacy fences, tables, and chairs were nice. The dog areas were fine and kept clean. Sprinklers kept the grass and plants green. The one main bathroom was clean and kept in order, and the showers were roomy and useful. The little store had necessities and a few cute souvenirs. Prices were as expected (a little higher than out in town, but not extreme). The free popcorn was a fun treat! The kitchen and game rooms were nicely decorated and clean, too. All in all, a cute little campground to stay at while traveling in the area.
Nice and quiet KOA. Lots of pull through sites and they all seemed to have patios, and as you can see dog approved. They have a larger than most play field for kids with a playground and Frisbee Golf. There is a larger than normal off leash pet area that is long enough to play fetch. The most unique feature was the GIANT out door drive up style movie screen. There is laundry in the office and restrooms, which are decent, but look ready for remodel.
Unique park with a drive-in style movie screen. They have a lawn area to enjoy the movies. Show times vary with the season. They are upgrading the electrical system and the sites. Very attractive place to stay.
My boyfriend and I took our pup camping for the first time this weekend here and everyone that worked here was very friendly and supportive. We left a day early due to the fact that it was just too hot out for our pup. They understood and plan on giving us a refund for our extra night we paid for. They were also very accommodating when we asked them if we could move our tent site so we had more shade for our pup. Would definitely suggest them if you’re planning a trip with your fur baby(s).
Very nice well kept park. I love the movie screen set up. I wish we could have been there for the weekend to enjoy it. I don’t have a pet but the dog run looked amazing. Plenty of room to run and play off leash. They also had some disc golf and horseshoes. There are some long term residents but very well maintained sights. We stayed there to visit crater lake and they were about 2 hours away. Convenient for us traveling down I5.
