Customer Reviews
It is a beautiful place but the spot we picked was very down hill. Didn't have enough blocks to get the nose of the camper level. Seen some pelicans, ducks, geese, and bison while there. Trying to find a spot was a challenge as the roads are marked and felt like we were driving through camp sites. Plus didn't find any where it said the check out time. We guessed 11. We had a 50 amp full hook up spot for $20 and a beautiful view of the lake.
Nice campground! First come first serve. Very large. Probably wouldn’t have and trouble getting a spot on a week day. Right on the bike trail and a short ride to town.
The park is beautiful. Playgrounds and shower house are nice. Only complaint would be the incredibly noisy neighbors we had. I asked them to be more quiet at 12:30am, but they continued on until 2am!! Did not see a campground host on duty anywhere. Will probably come back, but will look for a more remote site.
Love the walking trails,Beautiful sunrises and sunset, love the hummingbirds
Nice place to camp. There is a trail to bike, walk, or run on. The lake is good to fish or kayak.
