Quiet campground. Pretty view of the lake/pond. However, the bathroom is NOTHING like the website shows.....often out of tissue/paper towels, the cabinet under the sink is rotting and basically disgusting, the shower is exposed pipes....hasn't been updated in years, it seems. We've had difficulty getting response from owner if there's an issue...we have been on a site for 4 days, and STILL don't have sewer hookup....my husband had to go to the store to buy more piping to complete the connection, using costly fuel and $.....this after multiple requests for the campground to take care of the situation! I give this campground a 3 out of 5 .....🫤 😒 Also, just a heads up, that it's on a 1st come basis, so you can't be guaranteed a site. We were told 5 days ago that we could move to a different site, due to not having sewer hookup, but nothing has become available.....wanted to be closer to bathhouse, even though it's not great.......
These folks take really good care of their guests! I highly recommend staying at this camp ground! They offer nightly, weekly, and monthly availability. Campers are allowed to fish in the lake and keep your catch! Community fire pit by a very old beautiful tree. Close to Dollar General, Walmart, and fueling stations. 30amp and 50amp spots.
Just needed a safe spot to pull over and sleep a bit and this was it! We came in after dark but the manager came out to greet us, let us know the deal of the camp and that was it. Very quick and served our needs just fine.
Looking for an overnight stay from Florida to Pigeon Forge. Perfect spot. Owner helped us park so we didn't have to unhook our tow. I definitely would recommend this place. So peaceful & quiet after 6 months in Florida. Thanks for a good night. Hopefully we will be back!
We were traveling from Florida and just needed a one night stay. We were pleasantly surprised. The location was great. It was so peaceful after being cramped in at our St. Augustine campsite. Beautiful lake and green grass. I will definitely come again given the opportunity.
