I cannot believe I have never been here & I've lived in this area my whole life. This place is so beautiful & peaceful! We had a family BBQ & went swimming. We spent the whole day there. The water was perfect, so clean & so fresh. I will be visiting next summer for sure!
Beautiful spot to camp. No hook ups but clean restrooms available. Firewood for sell on-site. The lake is a beautiful aqua color. Dog friendly place. No cell service, you are off grid.
We camped here for 4days when we lived in Washington state for 20years. The water in baker lake is glacier water so in August even on the hottest days it was too cold to get into the lake. We drove up a forest road onto the top of a mountain and got a great view of Mt. Baker and we went hiking in another location south of baker lake fun in the sun 😆 LOL.
This campground is such a great location, right on the lake and it’s very well maintained! There are no showers but I was told I could go down to another campground to shower if I wanted to. The camp host Ryan is awesome and when I showed up hoping to get a site with no reservation he was very helpful in finding me a site, and probably the best one at that! I manifested a safe, well kept campground & also a fairly private campsite w/ a beautiful view and that’s exactly what I got! Ryan is so friendly and knows everything around here that’s good to do! He picked up both firewood and ice for me happily. He even offered his paddle board for me to take out on the lake with my pup!! The beach area is very nice though small and the lake is just stunning. The incredible turquoise color you see in pictures is legitimately what you have there! I cannot recommend this place enough. Beautiful campground and most helpful & friendly camp host ever :)
Used to be an on site store and paddle boat rentals approximately 20 yrs ago. We had a great time. There were 4 adults and 5 kids aged 2-14. Our campsite 43 was close to a bathroom. A lot of people using a trail close to our site to get to the bathroom. The lake was warm as temperatures were in the mid 80's.
