Swift Run Campground

Swift Run Campground is great . They have a pool that is open to the public on the grounds along with another pool that is there for the campers to use . campers can pay to swim at the public pool pool or you can swim at the other pool they have here at the campground . If you go to the public pool there on location there is a charge for the use of the public pool but not to use the other pool . We really enjoyed SwiftRun and the time we were there . The owners and their family are truly remarkable and will answer any and all questions . Now I will make certain I put this in my review . There is no cable television, or phone at this campground . We have Starlink so it did work here for us but I’m not to sure any thing else here works as for technology end of things . The location is great . 10minutes up the road is grocery store and etc…

I was just traveling through and needed a spot for the night. The folks at the office were very friendly, and by today’s standards the price was reasonable. The place ain’t fancy, but it was well maintained. I was very happy with my site (15) but was disappointed to find I had no cell signal. When I arrived I was dead tired and hadn’t thought to look at my phone. I took my dog for a walk and as we passed the office (which had closed for the evening) a lady who works there (maybe an owner?) saw me looking at my phone and asked me if I had the WiFi password, which I didn’t even know they had WiFi! When I logged in my phone exploded, my family had been trying to reach me!! She even offered me some of their fried chicken. All in all a very positive experience and I would certainly stay here again!!

Overall, it was okay. We stayed in a tent, and the sites are close together. The private campers-only pool was closed. Paid to use the public pool. Some miscommunication with our wood delivery. The water didn't work in the sink to wash dishes, was told it would get turned on, and never got turned on. Wasn't what we expected.

We were kinda desperate for a place on memorial weekend evening was booked in the area. Even here. When we pulled in just to see if they had anybody not show up for the spot we were in luck. The price wasn’t bad for full service for the RV. They have 2 pools on site. One big one with small slides that’s open for the public as long as they pay. And a small one for just their RV renters. The big pool was cleaned and kept nice. The small just for renters pool was green and nasty looking. The place was mostly quiet, which we liked. They didn’t have public WIFI but a hotspot does cover the area, otherwise you will get no cell service. The only real issue I saw was the people that looked like they stayed long term at the park, most of them looked trashed. They had built in porches and just junk all around their sights. The women working the front desk were nice. All and all an ok experience.

Nice pool. Didn't stay at campground. Water was a good temp. Not crowded. Only negative is they need to use the pool skimmer more often. By the tall slide which is closed, grass and other debris accumulate, so that should be cleaned more frequently. Price is $10. pp which is a bit high
