Free with National Forest pass or Interagency America The Beautiful Pass. Please Clean up when you leave. No Verizon service. Peaceful. Beautiful! Other close campground over spillway too just 1 mile away. Beautiful creek. Highway dept, fire and ambulance dept come by twice a day. Motorcycle Sherrif patrolled. Vault toilet with plenty of toilet paper. No water! Saw no wildlife except birds, marmots and small lizards. I will be back! Be aware, you are remote and mostly alone. Almost NO local traffic at night. GPS/SOS device is a good idea if you hike or are alone. Emergency services are close by but they won't know if you can't tell them. Feel free to use pics as you wish.
such a good place to stay. i camped here for a couple nights in late June. the river is super accessible and you can find a lot of neat things to do. the bathrooms were not amazing but such is life. if you can snag a spot post up for a bit, it’s nice. a lot of people litter here, it’s sort of sad. try to keep it clean for others. 😎
Great place to get away. Bathrooms always stocked with toilet. Though, wish they had the faucet running with water but at least the creek isn't to far. People are friendly and keep to themselves so you don't have to worry about being bothered or bothering others. They have fire wood grills in the camps so that's a plus. And only 20 minutes away from little Rock so if you need something, civilization isn't to far away
It needs some slight work on it the road coming in was a little washed out the inside needs consider work the restrooms that's another story but otherwise it was a pleasurable resting point we were there for 2 hours just relaxing
Great campground and awesome river down the way!!
