Water, showers and nice separation between campsites. Very clean and peaceful place. No power but generator was ok.
Lovely recreation area with nice size campsites. Not all have electric and water. The trail system is nice for walking and biking, but very dry! It's close to I -5, but no traffic noise. 😊. We didn't use the restroom facilities, so no report on that.
Absolutely. Beautiful area haven't camped there, but I would try it beautiful green lawn campground. The bathrooms are decent for porta-potties, there's no. Sync to wash your hands but overall like the place There's also a paid boat ramp dumpsthirst and there Is will chair access to the bathroom.
There is supposed to be a gate that locks at night but someone ran over it so they can't close it. So anyone can come in any time. Was super happy to see armed federal law enforcement rangers patrolling the park. We had a tree in our site that was a little close but managed to get in. Had electric so didn't worry about solar. And had enough sky to get good satellite reception. There was a cougar spotted in the CG this week so watch your pets. There is a nice group camp area with cabins and can also be rented for day camps. And a boat ramp.
Park could be better than it is. The sites are tiny if you have a rv bigger than 30 ft. Ours is 36 and the website says big rig friendly, it is not. We could barely fit our rv in our campsite without parking it in the trees. Also super low hanging branches around the whole park so when you are driving in they will scratch down your rv the whole time. The bathrooms are pay to shower, but they are disgusting, womens bathroom had used pads and panty liners on the floor of the bathrooms and showers, disgusting. The trash was always piling up outside of the dumpsters onto the ground, food all over the ground and the garbage company would not pick it up. We had dogs run up to ours off leash. Lots of homeless people in the parking lot next to the campground where you will have to park your car if you have a bigger rig. Also there is no dump station, and if you need to dump you have to drive to the KOA and pay to use theirs or find somewhere else. Just isn't worth it. The park could be a lot nicer but it needs better management. Only reason there are two stars is, the paved hiking trails are nice and the campground is beautiful.
