Customer Reviews
Campground is awesome. Large spots, good hookups. There was confusion our second day regarding our reservation. They called, left no message and when I returned the call you can leave a message that they might return in 72 hours. Stopped by the office to see what was up and they canceled us as a no show. It took a while to get it all straightened out. And they made it right. They are very short staffed. The website is also incorrect - they open at 10, not 9. We would stay again. Just make sure to check your invoice, they have a tendency to add charges. A high note, we saw one bear going from one site to another scavenging for treats. Very fun to watch.
We drove in late night (after hours) without reservations and when we called the after hours phone, they were very accommodating and allowed us to stay. The registration process was completed the next morning and very easy. There is plenty of space to park our RV and the location has everything you need for an RV. Highly recommend.
We’ve stayed in the cabins there three times while visiting SLT. The rooms are clean each time and we cant wait to go back. The staff is friendly and helps with whatever is needed. The location is fantastic to walk to the restaurants and SLT has so much to offer. Look at the trees, enjoy some r and r ,its cozy, clean, therapeutic for your soul. Love it.
I had a great experience camping here. My only issue was the lack of maintaining the bathrooms clean. They were very dirty. I completely understand it's a campsite but it wouldn't hurt to try to maintain them. Regardless, my family and I had a good time. I can't stress enough how important it is to make sure you're following the rules, especially when it comes to bears. We did have a few bears visit our campsite twice while we were there. So, please make sure you're following the rules & guidelines. We're excited to come back again next summer :)
Spent 5 days at this campground in a Class C Motorhome towing. Had spacious sites but not so level, that was ok. Lots of shade but huge pine cones falling. Easy access to all of what Lake Tahoe has to access. Would definitely stay again. Also, you need to make sure to shop their gift shop/necessity store. And, all staff were super friendly.
