This campground does not answer the phone and only texts back and forth. The website is not updated with the correct 2025 prices. It is small and not very nice looking. I would not recommend taking your camper here.

If you are looking for an outstanding kayaking experience on the beautiful Cheaha creek, this is the place! Great, sturdy equipment, friendly owners and staff, and fair priced rentals make this place a must do! Can't wait to "yak" here again soon❤️

My Wife, 7 year old Son & I went tubing today on 7/7/24 for our very first time here. This was the absolute worst experience that I have had in my 46 years of life. My Wife had the same experience as I. The water was so shallow that when we first got in I had to walk over 300 yards before the water became deep enough for me to float in, then I got stuck again, and multiple times thereafter creating what was supposed to be from what I was told a 2 hour float downstream, became a 5.5 hour float downstream, with no stops. I got injured quite a few times, cut up, scraped up, flipped over and hit my head more than once. There were multiple guest there drinking alcohol, smoking weed, cigarettes, eating edibles, swearing loudly with small children around everywhere. It was absolutely horrible. My family will never go there again. This was supposed to be a birthday present for my Wife, in which I failed her miserably with that. There is so much more negative things that I could say, but I won't. The Staff however was extremely nice, so no complaints there. They get 5 Stars, everything else gets a -1 Star. Extremely disappointed.

We stayed a few nights at this campground, and enjoyed peace and quiet while surrounded with green grass, nature and trees. The sites are some pull-thru and some back-in 30 amp full hook-ups on grass, with gravel drive areas. The owners are very nice and welcoming making you feel at home. We did have plans to return in May but unfortunately our plans changed and we won't be near the campground. We enjoyed our stay and will be back when we're in the area, we recommend this cozy campground to anyone traveling this way, they have RV sites and cabins and we understand they are into Kayaking on the creek/River nearby.
