Love the campground. Started as a weekend visitor and decided to become seasonal because we loved it so much. Always fun things happening on the weekends. Nice shaded sites to keep you cool on those hot days. Great amphitheater for live bands, pool, pond, arcade, mini-golf, rec center, snack shack(try the fish fry), adult pool side nights with live music, themed weekends. There is something for everyone! The owner is always working to improve what’s there and expand to add even more fun.
Staff was very friendly. Weekend sites were good size. We wished we had sewer hookup but had to use the dump station instead. Lots of permanent campsites. Driveway to check in is very narrow due to seasonal campsites close to road. Lots of trees. Playground equipment could use update-was equipment from 70's (great memory though). Everyone was friendly. Went end of season so didn't get to use much but mini golf and arcade.
Our favorite camping spot. Our family goes here all the time. They're family friendly and everyone there treats you like they've known you forever. My kids love their pool and their activities they have. I love the live music and the family friendly events they hold on some weekends. They try and keep everyone busy. But yet it's relaxing. The drive there is such a beautiful view too
My son and his girlfriend just stayed in the cabin and it was not a good experience and they would not return. One bathroom had been taken down due to flooding, the other was disgusting and not kept clean. The water was brown and they questioned it being usable. Not a welcoming environment by the seasonal community. Paid for wifi and didn't work. Very disappointing.
This review applies to tent camping. I stayed here for a whole week in July '24. Firstly, the overall experience was terrible. The camp sites, all of them, are in the way back of the grounds up a narrow hill to a sloped, almost not really flat area under a mess of tall pines. I wouldnt stay at any other sites aside from 5 or 6, 7 has some permanent shed thing on it, and all the rest are on a nasty mud slope. Pray it doesnt rain during your stay, despite being on a hill it still somehow manages to hold water. Got to my site first day and there was still trash in the fire pit from the last people that had been there. The bathrooms/showers that where suppose to be nearby where locked and closed. So if you needed those facilities you had to walk through the cramped campgrounds because its basically a trailer park but campers. Theres no curfew for the golf carts or restrictions on where they can go. So it could be 1030 at night, you're trying to lay down for an early start the next day, and here comes some teenagers, or some drunk on a golf cart doing laps through the tent camping area. The store is closed Monday and Tuesday so you'll have to go into town for those two days if you need anything. The road throughout the entire place minus the main road to the office was washed out with ruts and water runs everywhere have fun pulling any kind of camper or trailer through there. Overall will never return. Nor will I ever recommend.
My husband and I have been camping here for years. We are swingers and there is a large scene there which we appreciate. Sex Parties and the pool has nude hours. Definitely not a campground for kids. A great weekend getaway!!!
Very nice campground! Updated bathrooms, great playground. Lots of activities, live bands, pool and snack bar. Creating new campsites.
