Dale and Tari met us upon arrival with their two Great Pyrenees livestock guardians, Thelma and Louise. Wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable hosts! They had a great variety of livestock - Jersey cows, Highland cows, goats, alpacas, laying chickens and meat chickens, pigs, 2 mules (Laverne & Shirley..lol), a mini donkey (Murphy), a mini pony, and a family of barn cats. I volunteered some work time with Tari, and she gave fantastic information on each of the animals. They are building a glamping area with a yurt, a beautiful glamping tent, separate showers & bathrooms, and a fantastic view. Their store included many unique Alpaca items, but also soaps. The entire experience was very positive, and I absolutely fell in love with Thelma & Louise, And Laverne & Shirley. Thelma & Louise walked with my husband and I frequently as we toured the farm, but on the morning walk, they each walked on eirher side of me with their heads touching my hands as we walked the area. It was like they were my crutches.. lol. We fed all the animals and I learned about the Alpacas and goats, what feed and grasses are not good for them. My husband and I had great hugs from Murphy and Laverne & Shirley. Tari and I sat in the goat pen and they were so curious, friendly and sweet. We purchased two pairs of beautiful Alpaca socks. Thank you Dale and Tari for a great experience, this was our second time using HH.
