Great little campground. Hard to believe it is just minutes away from a city. Very quiet. Nice clean sites. Camp host was very friendly, and was washing down sites after people left. There is a children's playground that is adjacent. The archery range is private and fenced off. Overall, a great place to spend the night.
Always a wonderful experience. Full hook ups, large grassy area for any family activities you may desire. Just an all around great place to visit any time of the year.

Tapo Canyon campground was a perfect campground for our visit to Simi valley and the Ronald Reagan museum and library. In addition to the campground's convenient location to Simi valley, it was off the beaten path enough to enjoy the peaceful surroundings nature. Although there was no cell service we had no problem staying connected with Starlink. Having a full hook-up site with sewer drainage allowed us to enjoy showers and hand wash a bit of laundry. The cat birds were vocal and entertaining. Tapo Canyon campground is a great value and definitely worth visiting.
Great spot for an overnighter, especially if you want to visit the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum. Very small & basic. No wifi or cable, spotty cell service, & not much to do, so definitely a short-term destination. Clean & pretty, with level sites among trees. Friendly on-site staff. We stayed in our 27' Class C in mid-February.
