Ok so heres an honest review: Lots are very small, no fire pit, when asked the owner she told me to build one and be creative. 🤦🏻♂️ I drove around the park and took as many stones as I could. Would of been better to just bring me a rim like all the others sites as I payed for a serviced lot! Just common courtesy and customer service 👎 Washrooms and showers are filthy, spiderwebs everywhere, I know its camping folks, but I mean disgusting! When you run a business especially with seasonals and visitors going to the washroom daily, its recommended to at least have an employee visit the place for a quick clean up once in a while. The beach is very nice, however it is very small (80 feet max). My 2 stars ! Would I go back - never ever ! 👎
About 10 tent camping sites, 4 of which are on the water, nice sites if you want to be on Lac Poisson Blanc, sites are pretty close together. Got ripped off financially, booked the group site but she changed my reservation last minute cause a bigger group came in which was fine, but she didnt change the bill and then when i asked for a refund, she said no i "had no proof", even though i had a receipt that said paid, i got scammed pretty good. So just be careful!! If Tarmigan Camping is your only option go for it but definitely suggest you try a different camp ground.
This camping site has more seasonners than weekenners but with friendly people. The lot itself was very small and close to the road. The site has 1 children playground which could be updated. It is a great place for boating, fishing and kayaking because you are about 5 minutes by walking to the lake.
Made us pay for a half day for 3 sites (60$) for checking out 5 minutes late even after doing everything he asked us to do extra (to save him work) the sites were available on time but by the time we pulled the boats out of the water we were a few minutes late for check out... we booked last minute and they still had sites availible probably because of this kind of service... We will deffinalty never go back! We were harrassed for putting up cloths line to dry our towels and swim suits, harrassed us for putting up a hammock, harrassed us for bring our own firewood from our homes... We had a great weekend but deffinalty not because of Linda and her son.
The cottages are private right on lake totally furnished and clean. Animal friendly also trailer camping if you can get cottage 2 you are all alone no neighbours excellent place been going for years
