An amazing rustic campground a few miles from Fish Lake. NOTE: This is an equestrian campground and is reserved for those camping with their equine family. There are water spigots spread throughout the campground, so it is relatively easy to fill the water in the corral you are using, but the water is NOT meant to be hooked up to your camper. Nice bathroom facilities with flush toilets. No showers. We visited in June. Even though it is not right on the water there were plenty of mosquitoes!
We had an amazing experience at Tasha Equestrian. Our camp host, Karen, was so helpful to make our experience the best ever. She made the experience perfect for our group. She was great at answering our questions and giving us maps of the area for trail riding. I would camp there again, if I have a horse, of course. Karen was camp host at Mackinaw #22.
Quiet horse camp. Campsites are a little tight to get into but beautiful. Each site has pens, table and firepit.
This is a campground especially and only for people with horses. Built several decades ago. This campground offers several trails that you can ride to immediately or it's a great place to trailer out from. There are restrooms but no showers. Pack some mosquito spray because you're sure as hell. Going to get bit if you don't. There are corrals for horses with poop rakes and wheelbarrows to clean them out when you're done.
This is a great place if you have horses. Lots of trails, some right from the campground, that are beautiful. Could spend days exploring all the trails if you wanted. Bathrooms were clean. Campsite was nice. We would definitely come here again.
