We camped in our Rv, and stayed to ourselves, it was pretty quiet except for being woke up by dogs barking at 6 am every morning. Also my friends dog was attacked by another dog that came over into our site that was on too long of a lead from the neighbors site. I do NOT recommend the public bath house. We waited to try it on the last day immediately after they were closed for cleaning because I was weary of using it after others due to the fact the water didnt seem to flow in one out with fresh thermal Waters enough to keep bacteria from growing and it didnt seem exactly hygienic, but we tried it anyway. That afternoon I came down with symptoms of a UTI that led to an ER visit this morning for antibiotics. As I havent had one in years, and the only common denominator the dr and I could see was this trip to this bathhouse over the weekend, we believe this was the cause.

You need to be very careful when making a reservation or even staying at this place. It is advertised as a hot spring resort. There is no hot spring or resort any where. There are 2 hot tubs in a building with no signage or indication of what’s in side. The “rv park” is in a gravel pit. Unfinished is over rated. It was just rocks pushed around to give the appearance of spaces to park. There are several permanent residents there, living in old motorhomes that have not been moved in 30 years. The only positive is we got a refund after we refused to stay there. This place is not as advertised!! We went back up the street about 1/2 mile to the Death Valley hot springs and had a great time and met some really nice people.

Second time we've stayed here; with the cabins you get a beautiful mountain view in the morning and at sunset. Be sure to get a room with a shower; otherwise the showers are a block away.

The hot springs are definitely hot and very relaxing. Great place to go to disconnect from the hustle of modern life.

You can go up to the heights of Tecopa about 3 mi. & there is a clean water dispenser machine to fill your jugs. Never drink the hot spring water that's filled with minerals (unless your super constipated) nothing better to better to relieve muscle, joint pain and arthritis. Public baths, cleaned daily $9. 90 mins from LV ...
