Tellurian Family Campground

My family and I stayed here for Thanksgiving week last week after an unexpected mishap with another campsite nearby and mannnn am I glad it worked out that way. This place has amazing views, the owner is awesome, and there was electricity and bathrooms to shower. Sure, the cell signal is weak and there’s no movie theater or TVs in the “clubhouse” as we called it, but that’s the point of camping, right? In all seriousness, you can tell from having a conversation with Jud that he truly cares about this piece of property. The other ridge has an amazing view, so definitely check that out while you’re there. The river looks like it would be a great time during the summer months. Also, deer were spotted on more than one occasion. The gamecocks were somewhat obnoxious and there was a barking dog in the distance most nights, but a little crown royal and a hot fire made those little noises float away. If you’re looking for a place to get away, and want to take your RV (or go tent camping like us) with power and running water, this is one place to check out for sure. We WILL be returning! 🔥

Absolutely beautiful view!!! The campground is awesome. Very nice bathroom/ showers (clean and very much like a shower at home). The river below the campground is so much fun. The campground has games for the family to enjoy. The owner came by and greeted us. He is a very nice guy and great to talk with. We really enjoyed our week at the campground and couldn’t have asked for better views.

If you seek tranquility, this is the place for you. With breathtaking views, a rushing river, and wonderful hosts, you can't find a better spot to camp. Jud is incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made our experience even better. Jud and Amanda are exceptional hosts. Jud's friendliness stood out as he took the time to show our kids a trick at the waterfall and drove our family to the most beautiful view on the property. His love for sharing the delights of his land is evident, creating unforgettable memories for our family. We will definitely be returning multiple times a year. The campground sites are excellent, with six available and five offering full hookups. All sites are level, and the bathhouse is very clean. It's clear that Jud and Amanda take great pride in their property, and we look forward to seeing the transformations they plan in the coming years.

We loved tent camping on Jud and Amanda’s property! The views are incredible and the property is very well maintained. There aren’t many campgrounds that have the top mountain views like this, as well as a beautiful, cool river to swim in. The sites are spacious and the bathhouse was very clean and thoughtfully stocked. We want to thank our kind hosts and their children for being so personable and hospitable. (Please tell the children that I adored & saved the drawing from our fire starter kit as a memento.) You all made this a very memorable experience for us! We will definitely be planning another trip to Tellurian Campground.

This was an amazing campsite. The view is spectacular and the river is so fun to play in with multiple areas to explore. Our four kids had the best time. The bathrooms were clean and very nice and everything was in order for a complete hook up. Jud was so friendly and gave us a personal tour of the property. We can’t recommend it enough!
