The room was high for what you get. The shower floor was really dirty with hair covering up the drain (they must of missed that). The walls are super thin so you can hear the neighbors loud & clear. The wifi didn't reach into the room. There is no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan. I'm not one to complain but when I spend almost $200 for this, I have to be honest in my review. The people were very kind but they locked the office door at 6pm so I couldn't even tell them about the shower or any other issues I was having.
I will start by saying the location is absolutely amazing but is the only reason we didn't immediately leave. Once we voiced our concerns about the beds with broken box springs and the futon that was completely bent, broken and unusable the owner Barb immediately started treating us differently and basically told us we were the problem not the accommodations which clearly haven't been properly maintaned. Troy was level headed and nice about the situation but Barb was vulgar, unprofessional and down right rude, no place I would ever bring my family. She made it so uncomfortable to come into the lodge that we didn't the last few nights but to grab towels. Overall it is really disheartening we have stayed at this location for many years but this was a last straw for us.
The folks at the Ten Mile Inn are real people with real persons attitude. It was a great adventure and one of the best vacations I've ever had. Thanks to the 3 of you for such a great time. Barb, Troy, and Gene
Very friendly hosts! They would give you the shirt off their back if needed. They make you feel comfortable, and the rooms are very homey. I would return as much as possible. BEST PLACE AROUND!
We had 2 rooms for 5 adults and a black lab dog. We may have been the first guests for the new owners Troy & Barb. We stayed a week in August 2021. The owners were FABULOUS! So Friendly and helpful. They were like family. The mountains and lakes nearby are AWE Inspiring. We all had an AWESOME GREAT TIME. Steve S.
