100% recommend. If you’re a respectable person you won’t have a single problem here. Brenda and her husband run this place as if their lives depended on it. They care so much about the campground and the people staying whether you’re here for a long time or just an overnight stop. We called at 10 pm and they had a pull through spot available to us for a very reasonable price. We were grateful they answered the phone, let alone the extremely friendly and helpful customer service to get us a safe spot to park our camper for the night. We loved it so much here we ended up staying another night just to get to enjoy the campground. The bathhouses are very clean and offer bathrooms and showers. They also have a game room to hang out in with all sorts of fun activities! We will definitely be back here! 🫶🏼
A quiet, safe place to stay. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Pool table and television in the clubhouse. Relaxing front porch with rockers and a porch swing. Great place to stay when going to see local attractions. Newly updated showers look amazing! They have epoxy non-skid floors, new paint, grab bars, new rugs and shower curtains!
If I could I would give them 10 stars. Brenda and Richard are WONDERFUL people and very helpful. There son even gifted me some bread to take with me the night before I went to the hurricane affected areas to help. I found them the night Helene hit the area and I'm glad. Very low budget friendly. WiFi was full bars most of the time I was there. Very quiet campground even though the freeway is less than a half a mile away you couldn't even hear the freeway OR THE TRUCK STOP! I will admit pictures didn't look like what I saw but what do you expect they were probably taken in a different season than I was there plus there was a storm coming so of course it's not going to look the same as the pictures. Very easy access the roads in and out were great. And as I read through all the reviews the very low star reviews were most likely homeless people that had a 7-night limit and they couldn't stay any longer so boohoo I mean I guess you got to go find somewhere else limits are limits. In conclusion I would absolutely positively stay there again and again and again and again. And probably the most dog-friendly place I've ever been to.
Jessica, author The Quest for Family We had a great visit and rest camping here. We went to New York/ New Jersey for a book award and stopped here to stay on the way back to Texas. Jay McMurray was very accommodating and called us back in a very fashionable time sealing the deal in our overnight stay. Beautiful place, heavily wooded and peaceful. On another note. The Quest for Family encourages people to heal from past hurts, find purpose and give back by helping others. Help create family wherever you go! Be the Change. Price is very reasonable for a tent stay for weekly rates and very nice people who run it and keep it very clean and nice for visitors. Pet friendly and safe for families to have a good time around the fire and enjoy the fall weather. ...very clean bath rooms an laundry rooms and club house ..wifi is available as well slows down during bad weather other than that great place. . Has primitive camp spots for tents in the back I would Recommend if u have dogs. So they won't bark to much.
