Family Camping Activities for All Ages: Games, Hiking, and Campfire Fun
Explore family camping activities that bring all ages together, from outdoor games and scenic hikes to memorable campfire fun that creates lasting memories.
Welcome to Tent Hill Campground, located within Fort Cobb State Park at Tent Hill Dr, Fort Cobb, OK 73038. As part of the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, Tent Hill Campground offers a natural setting for camping and outdoor activities.
Based on customer reviews, the campground is noted for its cleanliness and well-maintained grounds, with minimal sticker issues. However, tent campers should be prepared for a longer walk to campsites, requiring them to pack light.
Wildlife encounters are common, with reports of numerous ticks, spiders, and particularly active raccoons. Visitors should take precautions to secure their food and belongings, as raccoons have been reported to damage tents in search of food.
For those planning to fish, weekday visits are recommended. Weekend fishing can be challenging due to heavy boat and jet ski traffic, with some visitors reporting a lack of respect from boaters towards bank fishers. Additionally, there are reports of limited fishing access and parking issues, with former parking areas converted to RV spots.
Some visitors have also reported issues with campsite occupancy, where neighboring campers used reserved spots for activities other than their intended purpose, limiting access to those who reserved the spot.
Potential visitors are advised to consider these factors when planning their stay at Tent Hill Campground. Contacting Fort Cobb State Park directly for the most current information on campsite availability, parking, and specific regulations is recommended.

The place was clean and well mowed didnt have problems with stickers at all. If your in a tent pack light it's a ways to walk with all your camping gear. Lots if ticks and spiders. And get ready raccoons are horrible at night. The cut open our tent and stole all of our food 2 nights in a row. If you are going to fish and don't have a boat try weekdays because weekends are hard to do with all the boats and jet skis. Didnt feel like boaters respected people fishing on the bank. We reserved our spot but couldn't fish at all because it was occupied by the people next to us. They used there spot for their boats and ours for swimming so we had to go elsewhere.
No where to park and basically no access to the water for fishing. What looks like it was once a parking lot is now RV spots and there isn’t really any parking there either.
Never to go back the place sucks no place for kids to swim fishing no good it's all about boating
Beautiful camp site.. beautiful views.
Awesome family fun
