This beautiful campground provides a serene setting where families can connect, children can play freely, and everyone can unwind amidst the tranquil beauty of Northwest Arkansas. One of the most striking aspects highlighted by visitors is the sense of privacy and the quality of the facilities. Guests have enjoyed having the "place all to ourselves," creating an intimate atmosphere for their group. The campsite is praised for its "beautiful private campground with nice facilities" and its ability to provide a "quiet and beautiful" environment. While geared towards a peaceful retreat, it also understands the needs of families, offering "lots of things for the kids" to ensure everyone in the "hoard of heathens" (as one playful reviewer put it) has ample fun and adventure. Terra Rose Campsite presents itself as a thoughtfully designed space where comfort, nature, and family enjoyment converge.

Location and Accessibility

Terra Rose Campsite is located at 14795 Strawberry Ridge Rd, Gravette, AR 72736, USA. This address places it in the scenic northwest corner of Arkansas, an area renowned for its natural beauty, outdoor recreation, and vibrant communities. Gravette is a charming town that offers a quieter pace of life, while still being within reasonable driving distance of larger cities like Bentonville, Rogers, and Fayetteville.

The location on Strawberry Ridge Rd suggests a rural, potentially wooded setting, which aligns with the private and secluded nature of the campground. While the area is generally accessible, one reviewer noted that the road coming in, particularly Strawberry Ridge Road itself, can be "a bit technical" after heavy rain and might pose a challenge for certain vehicles, especially motorcycles in adverse conditions. However, for most cars in daylight, it should be fine. This characteristic contributes to the camp's tucked-away feel, ensuring a more genuine escape. For Arkansans, this means that a truly private and immersive outdoor experience is available within a manageable drive, allowing them to easily access the beauty of the Ozarks and the unique attractions of Northwest Arkansas, from crystal-clear lakes to world-class museums, all while having a peaceful home base.

Beautiful private campground with nice facilities. We went at an odd time and had the place all to ourselves. Our hoard of heathens screamed for days playing and having fun. We felt bad the hosts went through the work of starting a group fire. When we had worn ourselves out and went to bed early. They left us be, and were friendly and welcoming. Lots of things for the kids. Balance beams, rope webs, climbing walks, slides. Woods, a pond to fish in. A storm blew through, we were well sheltered and not bothered by it.

So most of my complaints will be specific to my situation and shouldn’t be taken as a general criticism of the place — this camp is both quiet and beautiful. I found Terra Rose online, and so had little idea what to expect. I found the website straightforward for making a reservation. I called and was able to talk to someone on the phone who informed me of a water issue that may or may not be resolved by the time I arrived. I said I would take my chances. No criticism here. One thing I was not prepared for was the road coming in. If you’re in a car you should be fine although a heavy rain could make it a bit technical, but I’m on a multi-state motorcycle trip, and came in after dark in the rain, and it took some effort to keep the bike upright. Once I got past the hairy entrance I soon discovered that there was little to no parking near most of the camp sites. This may not be an issue for some, but I wasn’t about to park my bike on the road, walk 50 feet to my site, set up in the dark / rain, and then ride my bike half a mile around the loop back to parking. If I was in a car in daylight some of this wouldn’t have been a hassle worth mentioning. I also realized that I didn’t remember my site number, and the confirmation email didn’t provide it. Not that it mattered at this point. Continuing on, and not taking the right corner, I found myself on a more stable road surface that suddenly got a bit less than flat and dead ended without warning. Being too narrow to turn around my bike, I decided to just set up my hammock right there and settle in for the night, which ultimately went well. The next morning was Sunday, and as this is more or less a Christian camp I can understand being reluctant to do business on Sunday. Or maybe that’s not it at all, but at any rate in the morning I decided to call and check on the water situation, and see if I could move to the one camp site that appeared to be adequate — only to be met by a turned off phone with no inbox. No ring, no ability to leave a message. I was planning to stay here a week. Not sure if I want to spend a week braving the road or not, but it’s Memorial Day weekend so not like I can just go somewhere else. I’ll update when I leave.

What an amazing place to camp. It was quiet, beautiful (this time of year the trees were turning yellow and red.) It felt out of the way and nestled in a beautiful valley. Staff was friendly.

We camped here as a family and had a great time. It is a beautiful and quiet spot and feels like you are far away from town even though it is close. Lots of fun things to do like horseshoes, hiking, obstacle course and great clean restroom facilities. A perfect place for a fun family campout on the weekend.
