This is a very poor place. It makes me sick that the pool there is full of nasty water and is a highly popular breeding ground for mosquitoes. The campsite is poorly managed. And the people that manage this site lack the ability to behave and treat their customers with kindness. It sickens me to think that somebody could own something like this Charge their customers and not provide service to them. Not to mention when I was there I noticed multiple code violations safety concerns electrical hazards. So if you are to visit this great place on Douglas lake Be fair warrant there are hazards at Terrie point Campground. If this campground was left up to me I would have it shut down for the multiple code violations poor management and absolutely Rude behavior of the management staff.

The picture with the spilt fries or what ever it is decribes this place to a T. This is what the whole campground looks like. Its covered with trash, junk cars, boats, old buses and buildings everywhere for u to view. Not counting the 3rd camper on the left as u come n looks like a trash dump all around it, especially behind it. There neighbors put up a privacy fence just to block it from there view. Power won't stay on water stinks and looks like lake water. A swimming pool that harbors the infestation of mosquitos. Because it hasn't worked n years and they won't fixed it. None of the things they have is the truth no playground, bathrooms nasty no tp or soaps or paper towels and no restraunts. Restraunt was closed down by health dpt. Electrical wires run on top of the ground unstead of being buried. Power will not stay on. And once the lake goes down u have no water. U do not WANT to waste your money here. Believe me I know by experience. It is now run by hilltbilly drunks n pot heads.
