A family favorite spot for my entire life. Enjoy a beautiful spot on the Blanco River - stay overnight or enjoy for the day. Ride the rapids, swim downstream for a deeper swim area, sit in the natural pool holes, walk along the rocks, hike into the rocky hillside, and enjoy the outdoorsโฆ this place is a perfect getaway.

Such a calming location. The water flow was perfect today and the amenities are great for a public spot. The caretaker and his wife are awesome too!
This is such a cool camping site. Weather you want to camp in a tent or rent one of the cabins they have the location is awesome. There is a great area to swim in when the water is high enough. It has a great view and also has a place to play vollyball and baseball or softball. They also have several bbq pits that you can use of tou would like to bbq. The rates to camp are very reasonable the only downfall is i think you have to work for Texas State or be with someone that does to enter the camp. Other than that this is such a nice camping site.
Quiet, Small, Campground well maintained. On the Banks of the Blanco River, No power, Limited Water, Caretaker present and communicative.
