The Blue Moon Inn

We came into town for a family funeral and this was a reasonably priced option near the family. It was a wonderful place! Large clean room, nice patio, kitchenette, and a great facility that has a pool, shuffle board courts, pickle ball courts, a club house with poker table and pool table. Much cheaper than the local hotels. They don't have a 24 hr desk attendant but they do have someone on-site and an emergency number to reach them if needed. Everyone was very friendly and responsive. We will definitely book here the next time we are down to visit family.

We are definitely staying here every time we visit! It is a very good value and the room was spacious and clean. Comfy beds. We loved that we had several sinks and a kitchenette. The front desk staff were very nice. Great clubhouse with a library with games and DVDs too. Very nice pool, pickleball court, and shuffleboard. Very quiet.

We stayed here this August 2022. We sincerely cannot say enough about how awesome it is. We are locals and we were skeptical. Blue Moon is exactly as beautiful as you see in the photos on the website. The people that operate it are simply wonderful and the rooms are extremely nice, roomy and CLEAN!! We wanted to just move in! 😊 The entire property is so clean. We have found our getaway gem and will most definitely return soon!! Thank you so so much to Kevin! Your Customer Service is amazing! This is a really nice place for the price. The rooms are very large (like a tiny apartment) and have really nice features such as Microwave, fridge/freezer, cups, silverware, and plates. 2 full size beds, couch and dining room table. 3 sinks total! Free 2 pretzel snacks and 2 little chocolate was in the kitchen area for newcomers which was quite nice. The bathroom is also very spacious. The beds are quite comfortable, not hard like many other places. They have a slight bounce to them. Service is pretty good although only available in the morning between 7-10am. So if you need anything it needs to be requested during those times. The main entrance area has a pool table, books and board games to check out. It also had a lot of nice outside activities, pool, pickleball, and shuffleboard, Cornhole etc. Really think if you're in the area you should definitely give this place a shot!

The rooms are huge & beautiful & clean & the service was great BUT I cannot never stay here again because there was a huge bad smell outside that smelled like a septic tank & that smell was in my room all night long & also in the lobby. I couldn't sleep cause of the smell but on the 2nd & last night I was there the wind was blowing in a different direction & I did not have to breath that pooppee smell while I was sleeping which means I was able to get some sleep.
