I came to see the bottle house, and found that there was a whole mini town setup, to look like the old west. I believe it was part of the same owners that rent out the cabins, but the office was closed, so I'm not 100% sure. If you are wondering around in Wimberley, you should stop by and check this place out. Depending on how you get there... you may cross the blanco river on FM1492, and was super cool to do so. It's narrow, but worth the trip over the river. Felt like I was crossing over, like in the western movies. Still makes me smile.

Free fall back outing for kids when looking for something to do last minute. My son seemed to enjoy looking through the window of The Bottle House at the miniature town display. Afterwards he and his friend had a blast running around Pioneer Town (old western pretend town) which happened to be vacant of any people when we went!

Kind of a cool little look at the way Texas towns were in the mid 1800's. A good place to teach children a little bit about history.

Its like a real ghost town out of the old western movies. Very friendly helpful staff. Nice cabins on the river.
