Our cottage was cute and clean. It had 2 bedrooms, a full size refrigerator, fully equipped kitchen, bath and shower. We had just a couple issues which management delt with immediately. They checked if we needed trash emptied or clean towles daily, but were not intrusive. It is right across the street from a campground so there was plenty of places to walk our dog and enjoy nature. We visited at Christmas and there was even a lighted Christmas tree on the covered porch. We will be back!
I stayed this last weekend. We ended up getting a late start on our way and soon realized that we were not going to arrive on time for check in before the market closed. When I called, they were happy to leave the key at the cabin, with the paperwork for me to turn in the next morning. She also helped us out by charging my account for milk and leaving the milk in the cottage refrigerator for us. This helped so much while traveling with young children.
My wife and have stayed at this place for 6 years. Today after our 3 night stay we tried to book for November. We got a call back saying we are no longer welcome to stay here. Due to a policy that does not exist saying that a dog must be potty trained. This is not posted on their website or in the policy they send you before you arrive. The dog we with us is a foster do that is 12 weeks old and is potty trained but nervus and has accidents. We tried to clean up as best as we could. I even asked for sheets and blankets and would not give them to us. I would have been happy to the extra fees. Instead they chose to be rude on the phone and did not ask what happen. As we loved to explain she is a foster puppy and has nervous issues that were unknow to us. Also along with that the pool is not disability friendly. Meaning they do not have a hand hold for people to get in and out. Also the concrete is broken apart around the pool. Pool rules are not enforced could not even swim as there were a bunch of drinking ladies there. Their is no rope separating the deep end from shallow. Also the lights were out in the cabin as well. Please specify what damage when you called my wife rudely you said nothing on damage. Also we had 3 other people with us that will say a small 12 week old puppy did not do any damage. Also if dogs need to be potty trained you need to update your web site and paper work you send people. Funny how when we asked for pictures of the damage and none were provided. Stay away
We didn’t stay at the cottage this time, but Tony & his wife were very helpful. The market had our essential needs and they worked to help us enjoy our local stay. We greatly appreciated the boat parking and being able to keep our boat near our place for the week. This location is super convenient by the Indian Point boat ramp access too!
The cottage, looks like you are staying in the Ozarks lake cabins and family oriented business. Tony and his employees will make your stay awesome. My Brother and hid wife would stay every time they visit and we even had our family reunion there and it went great. I strongly recommend the cottage.
