beautiful place and beautiful lake. Let's help take care of it and preserve it. Let's always leave the place very clean. Please let's teach the children not to give bread, potatoes or cookies to the🦆🦆🦆 ducks, that causes a lot of damage to their stomachs, there are quite a few insects which is the natural diet of wild ducks🦆🦆. Let's take care of this beautiful jewel of nature. 🙌✨️🌏

Day use site had a perfect wading area that was shallow for a substantial area that the kids could trudge around and see the tiny fish. Easy to launch kayaks or rafts, as well. About a hundred feet from the parking area, so carrying things down wasn't a huge chore. A slight incline back up, but not too difficult carrying two kayaks. $5 fee, totally reasonable. Large lake, on a Wednesday there weren't too many people, easy to spread out, plenty of shoreline for everyone. Temperature was great, in the shallow parts, the water was warm, got colder, but quite nice.

Such a beautiful spot. This day use area does come with a modest $5.00 fee, but its worthwhile. There are plenty of picnic tables and open spots close to the lake where you can bring a chair and relax. The lake itself was very refreshing and cool in the July heat. Really great for swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, etc. There are also plenty of campgrounds nearby, many of which surround the lake itself. Strongly recommended, but expect it to be on the busy side during nice weekends.

Cant say it all. Beautiful place. These are some pictures from there. It's a very calm lake and worth the drive. If you don't know where to go during this quarantine and you want to get outside of your house, I highly recommend going here. It probably is under rated because you don't hear that much about Timothy lake. You hear about Estacada, salt lake, Moses lake, etc. Don't under estimate this. It's good for a chilling time. It's really good to go fishing and kayaking (that's what we did). If you go, I want to say that you won't regret. It just depends what your expectations are. Our expectations were low. We just wanted to kayak and fish and then eat afterwards which was no issue at all. There was nice tables right by the lake and good shore. Anyways, I can say a lot. Just remember this one thing: Jesus loves you!!! God bless you all! God is good and all the time, God is good!!!
