Reservation was under Shelly Thibodaux. Our cabin was wonderful and cozy. Super clean and the kitchen supplies and dishwasher were ideal for our stay. Parking was close and safe. Booking was easy and the staff were amazing. Will definitely be returning next year.

Pros: Location was great. Close to Estes Park so all shopping, food etc was near. It’s on US-34 so very close to one of the Rocky Mountain entrance. Rooms were clean with lots of towels. Dishes, fridge, electric stove, dishwasher and microwave was available which helped. Cons: Not having physical presence to help customers needs to look at. The owner was helpful but looked like she is the only person to contact on phone. Instructions were not clear to navigate to the room as there are other cabins nearby with same room no. so its easy to get confused. I went to three other Room#14 before finding the correct cabin.

Wow! What a place! Absolutely stunning! My fiancée and I came here to stay in Estes Park for about 4 days in Dec 2024. When we arrived, they had a key waiting for us by the office door. We let ourselves in, and a very spacious cabin. Full kitchen, electric cooktop, microwave, drip brew coffee maker, garbage disposal, dishwasher. Plates, utensils, cups, glasses, etc. Working fireplace, ceiling fan, comfortable reclining chair, queen bed, jacuzzi tub (pay an extra $20/day to use, which is in a locked room) We were about 2 mins. Away from the entrance from Rocky Mountain State Park. You can walk out in the back patio, and there is a running river in the back! Have your coffee in the morning, and sit in the supplied chairs and have your coffee! Amazing! Great place! Now, unfortunately there were some downsides. This is why we do reviews, right? My fiancée and I come from the East Coast, Connecticut, we are 135’ above sea level. Going to Estes Park you are 7,500’ above sea level. My fiancée had a VERY tough time breathing. Now, yes, this is the first time we went out to this elevation. We had NO clue how she was going to be. I just have to say this, because if you use this review and you never been out here before just be aware, or stay somewhere in Denver and get accustomed to the thinner air. She did use “Boost Oxygen” which is oxygen in a can, that you can use when you need it. It did help her, but we ended up leaving a day early to get a hotel in Aurora which was a lower elevation, and the Evergreens does NOT reimburse you for early departure. ( I AM NOT, saying that as a bad thing, just stating what it said in the rental agreement) We went to Rocky Mountain State Park which was $30 for a day pass and $35 for the week. So we took the week pass, drove up to Bear Lake which again was about 9,500’ but we came right back down again as my fiancée was having trouble breathing. There is a ranger station up there, and people were walking with their walking sticks, backpacks, and snow shoes, we just weren’t prepared for something of that caliber. About a 10 min. Drive down the mountain there is a food supermarket, gas stations, Starbucks, and McDonald’s. There also is Estes Park Main Street which is absolutely cute to walk down, when it’s not 15 degrees! There is also the Stanley Hotel, which is what the movie The Shining was modeled after. You should check out Beer & Chicken Restaurant which was very good as well! The last thing I’m going to comment on was the hot tub…it was working, we checked it out, looked fun, but we were turned off by it. It was outside, in between two units (5&6) no privacy, no fence, shrubs, or trees, you can see other houses, across the river. Overall, great place, clean, comfy bed.

You probably shouldn't go here. It's probably too cool for you. Can you handle a grill with a broken instant light? Can you deal with a grill that has rusted out on the bottom so your butter and oil drip to the ground? No? Then stay away! Those things are true, but what also is true is that this is an amazing venue. We had a cabin overlooking a river, about 3 miles from the entrance to RMNP, but also 5 minutes to a supermarket and also restaurants and shops. This seems to be one of the lesser used entrances, but it was oh so convenient. It's also true that there are elk there basically a hundred yards from your cabin every day. So yeah, you probably don't want to go there 🤣

This was the best little cabin on the river! It was exactly what we needed to get away for a few days! Cabins are super cute and cozy and the views from the patio with the river sounds in the background was so peaceful. Definitely will be coming back
