A luxurious rustic glamping tent with electric appliances inside and cozy lights outside. Indoor camp bathrooms looked almost better than mine. The options of doing laundry and getting free ice are a big plus. I appreciated check-in process without staff, as I and my boyfriend were not sure when exactly we arrive to our accommodation. In the end, we arrived quite late. The place was a bit busy, since it's a camp, so earplugs would be useful. And even though the days might be super hot, prepare for colder nights.
I’m torn about The Gathering Place Campground. On one hand, the setup is fantastic, with spacious sites and a great layout. The outdoor shower was a standout amenity—unique and refreshing! However, cleanliness and attention to detail were lacking, which was disappointing. The other shower was extremely small and could use some maintenance. It's a spot with great potential, but it needs a bit more care to truly shine.
Outdoors showers/WC are really a nice feeling, also a shadowy place to chill with fridge, microwave... it's rare enough in camp sites to be praised. On top of that for a fair price. Grats to MarKaye and others owners, keep it that way.
Stayed there for 3 nights. What a great experience. Moab is a small town, this place is on the outskirts just off main road. We loved it, will go back when out there. We pitched tents, but stayed on the larger campsites for RV/tents to accommodate 2 tents. Indoor bathrooms were clean, free ice, coin operated washer/dryer, outdoor bathrooms were great, what a unique experience. Some structures obstruct the nature view, but still amazing.
This place is very nice for a sort of glamping accomodation. There are showers 🚿 both inside and outside, and if you use the outside ones, you can see the stars ⭐ There is plenty of space for parking your car 🚗 and for setting up your tent ⛺ as well. A great experience overall!!
