It's not just a place to park your RV or pitch a tent; it's an integrated resort designed to be a hub for adventure and relaxation in the heart of Utah's stunning landscape.
The environment surrounding The Golden Rose Ranch is a significant part of its appeal. Nestled at the entrance of Beaver Canyon, the resort boasts a picturesque setting characterized by vibrant red rock country, lush green meadows, and mature trees that provide ample shade. Beaver Creek flows directly through the resort property, adding a soothing natural soundtrack and opportunities for water-based recreation. The elevation and location offer clear, unpolluted skies, making for excellent stargazing. The terrain is a mix of flat grassy areas ideal for RVs and tents, and more rugged, scenic landscapes surrounding the resort, providing direct access to the vast Paiute ATV Trail. This blend of manicured resort grounds and wild, accessible backcountry creates a unique appeal, allowing guests to transition seamlessly from comfort to adventure. The visual appeal and environmental quality of the resort consistently receive top ratings, indicating a well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing natural setting that complements the diverse activities offered.
The services at The Golden Rose Ranch are extensive, positioning it as a full-service resort within the Campgrounds & RV Parks category. My wife and I stayed here back in March of 2022. It is kind of hard to locate because Google Maps takes you to the wrong location. Just keep going up the road and you will see their sign on the east side of the road. We just stayed one night on our way out to Arizona and it was one of the highlights of a two week trip. Loved this place! Oh, the place is called Victoria and Harry's Get Away on Hipcamp. It's not listed as The Golden Rose there.
Absolutely gorgeous land, where you can camp right next to red rock formations, not see a single person around you, hear or see no cars, and view every star in the sky at night. This was such a dream come true for us, being able to escape the city and stay in a setting that felt so "New Mexico" to us, we enjoyed every single second, and only wish we had been able to stay longer. We will definitely be back.
I stayed here last year. Quiet and picturesque. Adding a comment now as another reviewer said it was closed, but it seems to still be available for camping through HipCamp. Check for locations near Prewitt, NM, in the app.

There is no ranch there anymore
