I went on a solo adventure to explore Bella Vista, and found this gem. I wanted to car camp as the Winter day wasn’t too cold. I had a great spot with electric overlooking the creek and next to a clean outhouse, the bathhouse wasn’t far either. I felt safe. The next morning I woke up and ended up locking myself out of my car. Luckily I grabbed my phone, it only had 4% but was able to schedule roadside assistance. The locksmith was coming from Springfield, MO! A nice man did try to help me get it open since the wait was 2 hours or more. The owner, Cassie came to check on me, she gave me her hat and gloves. Then invited me to wait in the office, they also fed me and gave me a water. Although my adventure had a kink it ended up positive. I met some nice people and look forward coming back to float the creek and camp again. They have a customer for life!
This cabin is a true diamond in the rough. A one bedroom cabin nestled right on Little Sugar Creek just a few miles from shopping. It was very clean and had everything I needed for my stay including campfire wood. Hosts Cassie and her husband were very helpful with the booking process and checked in with me to make sure everything was perfect. I Will definitely be calling on them again.
Nothing necessarily wrong, the owners are nice but the overall campground is kind of ugly. The pictures on the website are dimly linked picture so it makes it a bit challenging when trying to determine visual aesthetics. This is a one and done for me. I won't be back but I would recommend this for someone who's just looking for a quick getaway.
I met the manager of Greene's at a local bar while passing through the area. After telling her my story, she said I needed to come check out their RV park. They have a great little spot right on the creek where you can launch your kayaks and floats to spend a day on the creek. They also have clean bathrooms and showers available for campers. The area was far enough from the main road to avoid any road noise. The 30A power was reliable, and a dump station was available when I left. The best thing about this place is the people running it, very friendly owners and managers at this place!!
Nice and quiet I definitely enjoyed it here. It has access to the river where you can put in and float if you want. There is a decent restaurant down the road and Walmart is 5 mins away. Prices are really good too.
