What truly sets The Grotto Campground apart is its direct connection to the awe-inspiring Grotto of the Redemption, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." This proximity means campers can easily walk to explore the intricate, stone-laden shrines, immerse themselves in its unique beauty, and even experience it lit up at night – a truly magical sight.

Customer Reviews
There are two blocks of RV sites, one just north of the shrine and another about a half block west. Power only sites, The north lot has access to the Shrine toilets. The west lot is closer to the shower house with toilets, dump station, and potable water. Basic clean shower house. $20/night.
There are two campground sites, one straight north of the Grotto, a community spigot in the NW corner, and a second campground due west of the Grotto. The campground to the west has the dump station, potable water, and showers. Both campgrounds are electric only at the sites. Nice and clean for our visit!
There is nothing fancy, CG 1 has a great view of the Grotto of the Redemption but is only electric (30amp), CG 2 doesn't have quite as good of a view and also only has electric (50& 30 amp) but has showers and a dump station. Both have a community water spigot.
Super clean. No woods so bring your own Iowa wood to burn. Electrical hookups, no water but indoor restrooms on site open 24/7. Pet friendly.
Electric only (20/30 A & 20/30/50 A options), water & sewer Dump at SW CG.
