This was one of the most beautiful and unique venues I've ever been to. Full of character. Gorgeous scenery. And there's a golden retriever that shows up with the owner and she made the whole weekend that much better. An absolute gem of a spot for any kind of event.

Truly one of the most beautiful and unique wedding venues ever! Our wedding was an absolute dream. The Hideout is gorgeous and perfect for the outdoor couple. The team at the Hideout is super communicative and proactive with making your wedding experience smooth and stress free. We were able to fully customize everything about our wedding (decorations, schedule, campers, vendors, etc). Even though we had several conversations about where we'd like our Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony and Reception area, Mother Nature had other plans. We had rain, hail and a brief fire (caused by a lightning bolt striking a tree), and everything about our wedding was still absolutely perfect. The Hideout worked to make our wedding so beautiful and fun! I can't speak enough about how stunning the property is. The cabin, the lake, the meadows, the hiking trails, the jacuzzi - all of it is incredible. If you're lucky enough to use the Hideout for your wedding, it will be an unforgettable wedding like nothing you've seen before!
As a wedding guest, I couldn't have asked for better accommodations or a better scene. Awesome experience. I stayed in the glamping tents near the parking lot in late September. It gets chilly nights up in the mountains. Bring lots of warm clothes, including good clothes for sleeping in cold weather. Swim gear is a must. Take advantage of the thirty person hot tub! And bring hiking shoes to climb any of the nearby hills. They are a little scramble and good fun before lunch!
Wow this place is all you could ever want for a Family reunion/ Wedding! The venue is definitely out of the way but so worth the drive. My Daughter got married here in August 2022 and it was amazing. The owners BJ and Josh are so accommodating but at the same time let you do what ever you want to do. You end up feeling like you own the place. The venue cannot be beat with the amazing hot tub and lake what more could you ask for? I just want to go back and help with weddings there because it is something out of the ordinary. My family and I are toying with pulling our money and renting it just to be there again. It is a magical place
