Great location. We had a lot of fun and the play areas for kids were awesome. The reason I give ONE star, is because we paid a LOT of money for a cabin with a shower and toilet. The entire time we were there, the hot water didn’t work in the cabin we were in. Our friends in the cabin next door had the same issue. When we complained, there was no manager on site, and they refused any compensation. We got an email today apologizing for our inconvenience, and offered a discount code for 15% off our next stay, that expires next week. 🤣 I’d say there is lots of potential for this to be a great place to stay, with better management, customer service, and fixing their facilities. This was our first experience there, and I have great confidence that we will not return.
It cost us over 100.00 per night, site was terrible, and the water was rusty, and left rust all over the side of our brand new motorhome from dripping hook up, than they told me on the phone that if my son and daughter in law came for the day it would cost me 10.00 more per person. But when they came I was charged 15.00 per person. Host stated that it just went up that day.. lol we have traveled since 2003 and never had a campground so bad. We have stayed at beautiful resorts in arizona that didn’t cost as much. Will not camp here again..
there’s a lot to do, but could definitely be cleaner, the bathrooms are gross all 3 days in a row. playgrounds definitely need a refresh, clean up and just maintenance. as well as the putt putt forsure needs a remodel. 100% understaffed but the normal lady in the office is nice and it’s a good camp store. it’s a solid campground if they upped the effort a little, and there is a lot for kids to do.
The location was the best part of the park. The back in sites had at least a 3 foot drop from road.almost tore off black tank pipes off trying to pull out. The play structure was dirty ( needs to be power washed) they are definitely understaffed. They definitely have a lot for kids if they could keep maintained- it was NOT maintained. For the price of campsites was expecting a lot more- half of the fire pits were full of grass and sites were not mowed. 1st and last time visiting
TOTAL DUMP!!!! Trust me DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING HERE!!!! Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, razor laying on the floor for days, balls of hair in the shower for days, mold growing in the shower and on the benches. It was clearly never cleaned. Toilets were almost clogged almost everyday and never taken care of. They never mow grass had to mow our own. They say that pump outs are included they weren’t! Had to beg to get pumped out. The pool, mini golf, and playgrounds were all covered in weeds and over grown. The place is awful and it wouldn’t take much to clean it up! Also they are probably 20-30 chickens, and turkeys running around pooping on everything. Some are mean and will chase you. Just don’t stay here spend that money on a different place that actually cares about you and your stay!
Great place. Staff was incredibly sweet and handled everything we needed. Our site was perfectly placed and peaceful. Lots of wildlife from chipmunks and squirrels to Sand Cranes and geese. Very nice bathroom/shower house. Everything is cozy and nothing is more than a couple minute walk.
I am SO glad I did not listen to the bad reviews - my family had a great time this past weekend! Honestly it is like a kid’s paradise, and they LOVED everything - the Putt Putt, laser tag, jumping pillow, playground, bikes, pool, ice cream, pizza - literally everything. If you have kids this is the place to go. The cabin was clean and beds weren’t terrible for cabin beds, bathrooms were MUCH cleaner than I expected, the store was awesome. The staff were all super friendly, accommodating, and delivered pizza and firewood to our cabins. Also love that it is dog friendly with a modest dog park, bags provided! We will definitely come back and stay again next summer.
