The best feature is that this a true rv and tent camp ground, no long term rv's! It has about 30 sites total, so you're not surrounded by tons of people. Nice path to the beach which is about 400 yards away. It has very good potential if management steps it up. Common kitchen area has 2 gas grills but honestly I would not put any of my food on the grills. But tinfoil works and no messes. I docked the place one star because they are renovating a bathroom shower. With only 2 shower rooms, this left 1 to use and needless to say, you had to pick your time accordingly to get in! Why in the world would you start a renovation project during the height of the camping season? No one was working on it the whole time we were there. There is a nice clubhouse too but its full of tools and materials for the renovation project! The other issue I have is the sites are not all the same size and this is not reflected on their site map of the camp! It's all the same price (too much) but I'd rather have had a larger site. If you want the larger site, the south side is the ticket. Also, according to their online booking, the place was full for the weekend, yet there were empty spots! Amazingly, we were never checked in by anyone, which seemed a bit odd and this also reflected on how often the bathrooms and the one shower room were cleaned! There's a phone # posted you can call for cleaning, lol. Overall, it's a nice place but too overpriced and lacks a bit of attention.
This is the Second time we camper with her RV This is a great place. The Camp host here are super nice And friendly. And there’s a trail right down to the beach. We highly recommend lamp camp
Excellent camp ground. Clean showers and bathroom. A common area to clean your fish and shellfish. Easy walk to the ocean. One of my favorite campgrounds.
Great little spot to camp! We only spent one night here, but wish we had spent a few more. The campsite itself is very clean and well maintained with nice bathrooms and showers as well as an outdoor shower closer to the beach with hot/cold water. We didn't use the clubhouse but it looked nice from the outside. Sited are decent sized, with the dry camp ones being the largest and closest to the beach! We have a small trailer so it was no problem but i could see bigger units being a bit troublesome. Nice little walk to the beach, and hardly anybody there when we were there. Good spot to fly a kite too! Would love to come back when the weather is a little clearer and see how the beach is then
I’m not a big time camper. This place was nice. The spaces are uneven in size which was strange but it all works out. It’s not to big which is really nice for noise and dogs which you’ll see in my photos. There’s a lovely trail right to the beach with a bathroom and outdoor shower and hose with hot water. The dogs were amazing, some a bit barky. They have a volleyball net for families or friends. It’s worth staying at if you’re comparing other places we drove by. Showers. Big sink for washing dishes. Fire wood to buy. They have it set up real nice
