We arrived late so followed their after hours instructions for finding an open spot and paying- it was a last minute decision to stop and we were grateful they had an open spot! We paid for a pull through spot with full hook up. Great water pressure and the sites were pretty spacious. It was so quiet which was very nice. We only stayed one night since we were passing through but, we would stay here again.
Seems mostly long term folks. There are actual mailboxes as you first enter the property. The short term rentals seem to be in the less desirable areas that don’t have any vegetation providing privacy. I had site 66, no vegetation between site or road. Would not stay here again. Other sites seemed better, with trees, some with some vegetation around their site. My site had someone else dog poop right by the water spigot (which was the kind they used in the 1800 at the old homestead). Everyone seems to vape cigarettes here- the folks hanging around the laundry, my neighbor at the next campsite. Not pleasant. I paid the extra money ($50) so I could do laundry, dump, etc. I would have been better off staying someplace else and just going to a laundromat. Of the 4 washing machines, only 1 was working. Sorry, but 3 machines do not go out at the same time. While the grounds seemed well tended, the bathroom was old, run down, and dirty. There was rust on all the ceiling supports, floors were dirty, one small ventilation fan seemed to be from the 1950s and not working (thus the rust). Overall, not maintained well, run down.
We booked this place because we were passing through town and it was OK. It was quiet, but we had a tough time finding our spot and locating driveways, etc. etc. it’s probably our fault for getting there after dark. However, I would stay there again in a pinch.
Its an RV park with a lot of spaces and a few apartments. It has clean bathrooms and shower rooms The laundry facility is clean and well kept with new machines. If you are looking for a place to park an RV for work or vacation i highly recommend this place.
Nice big park right on the edge of town. Large concrete pad and nice grass with a picnic table. We were on the end so lots of room. We even had a shade tree. Clean and well maintained. Decent laundry room. Lights throughout the park at night. Comfortable and quiet.
