Good for kids
Tanya’s little slice of heaven in Northern NM is beautiful and idyllic. The nearby National Forest is pristine and so, so close to the Little Goat Outpost. I highly recommend taking a walk with her hilarious goat companions, John & David
They don't disclose that the roads to this place will destroy your car. You need a high clearance vehicle with 4x4 (not even stock SUV). The roads are not passable in bad weather. This area is surrounded by trashed shanty shacks and old abandoned RVs. Debris liters this whole "off-grid community". On the way in your car will get attacked by dogs from a tiny home. Also they couldn't be bothered to dig an outhouse for the bus so you have to defecate in a bucket. They charge $100 a night for this after asking you to bring your own sheets. They call it rUsTiC. Whatever scenic pictures you see, that is very deceptive because the surrounding area is trashed and the people who live out here are not very friendly to outsiders. You're better off on the public lands in the area. As for the animals, their dog is pretty emaciated and obviously they are against capitalism while selling you an hour with a dirty goat. A lot of the pictures and reviews are from their Washington property, making it even more deceptive. Like this clown show doesn't get better.
You have never met a cooler person than Tanya. You've never been to such a cool property in your LIFE other than The Little Goat Outpost. You have never experienced such loving & sociable goat babies, such as John & David. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?! Check these guys out and go visit NOW! You won't regret it one bit.
Amazing experience with john and david they so friendlo and cute!
Great little spot not far outside of Taos. John and David are the coolest goats around. I mean common, who doesn't love goats?
