We love being completely of the grid, no phone,no Internet just time to reset and enjoy nature and one another. The staff is the absolute very best 😊

Stayed here for the eclipse and it is great. Like some other people have said the area including the rooms have a lot of spider webs. The furniture is starting to show its age and the place is pretty dated. The lack of any electrical connection to the outside world besides the pay phone at the store is definitely hard to deal with in this day and age but the amount of things you can do in the area and even behind the rooms is an easy use of time. The sound of the river are the best sounds you can ever sleep to or just sit by for hours. Definitely a drive to get to and it has it's drawbacks but definitely somewhere I could stay again.

Me and my whole family have been coming here since I was a little girl to camp, swim and fish and now I bring my own children. If you want to teach your children what life is like with out all the technology and teach them how to enjoy nature this is a perfect place for that a nice peaceful place to get away and relax . Although we miss the old owners for their hospitality and kindness, the new owners are very nice as well I think the only complaint I would have is they don't stay true to their store hours .

We were only in the store. It has everything you need for camping, food and beverages. The people who own it are amazing.. it's a fun place to get good foods.we were never in the hotel.

If you are looking for a spot convenient to the best fishing, hiking and beauty of the smokies, this is the spot! It's only 7 miles past bald River falls with plenty of spots in between to pull over and explore! There are hiking trails and a hatchery within 2 miles from Green Cove. They have a great fire pit to hang around and the crowd is always very welcoming and friendly. You can literally fish out your back door, as the rooms are directly on the water and there is so much exploring to do right there without having to drive anywhere. They have spots to grill and a general store filled with drinks, snacks, custom apparel and jewelry, hand painted games, custom tumblers, fishing equipment, tackel and so much more!! The prices are super affordable and it is a great place to bring your family. Everybody who runs it are great people and you just can't go wrong when you stop by for a visit or book a room at Green Cove! I've attached a few photos of the amazing views out there.
