Yesterday, a Friday I visited this country store for their Fried catfish. My family and I had the most pleasant experience here! The people who run it are incredibly kind and friendly. My 3 year old was SPOILED with attention and love. The ambiance of the place makes you feel at home, warm and comfortable. I just can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was here. And the food!!!! It was sooo amazing. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The catfish was so tender and amazingly good and crunchy deep fried tasty batter! I loved the hush puppies (which I normally don’t) the coleslaw, white beans and the awesome pickle spear and raw onions. I woke up thinking about this place this morning. So I had to order their Saturday big breakfast’s, which I’m waiting for as I write this! I can not wait to try everything on their menu. I highly recommend this place. They really know what they’re doing here. It’s the whole package. I hope it’s still around for my kids to show their kids 💜

Rick and Glenda the owners of this little haven are a joy to be around. The camp ground was immaculate. Very clean. I asked Rick if I could borrow a ladder to get acorns off of my slide from the previous camp ground. Not only did he get a ladder but he climbed the ladder and swept them off for me. What a gentleman. Would highly recommend this campground.

Super nice and clean RV campground located conveniently off the highway. Level gravel spots - easily accommodated out 33’ Class C towing a 12’ trailer. Reasonably priced. Easy to make reservations. Owners are super-friendly and helpful. Cafe was wonderful - breakfast was superb. Definitely a place to stay while traveling thru southern Missouri.

Stopped in for one night while traveling. Easy booking, directions and exceptional instructions emailed to us. RV sites in back of building helps block road noise. We were fortunate enough to visit on a Friday so we enjoyed some of the best catfish in a long time. This place is a must if passing through with a RV or a local looking for good food and friendly people. We will definitely stay here again.
