Interesting experience! Basketball camp turning into a resort, so lots of sports pictures in the hall that will delight fans. Talk to one of the investors for more stories. Rooms are comfortable and bathrooms spacious; note for those who need, there was no AC in the lodge we stayed at. Pool, easy access to the wilderness wonderland, very close to a restaurant (Takoda), store and gas station. All the essentials in a kitchen if you want to bring and cook food. Contact-less check-in. Dog friendly.
Just got back from McKenzie River Resort. Took my women's college basketball team there for a retreat. We stayed in the O'Neil Cabin. Bunk Bed and queen bed in each of the 5 rooms. Big common area with refrigerator and plenty of dishes. It was incredible. Matt did some team building with us and took the team rafting which was incredible. If you have a team or even big family group I highly recommend. It was incredible. Will be back next year and am planning a guys trip to Tokatee Golf Course as well.
Stayed here with my class for two nights a couple of weeks ago. Lovely location and the staff were great. I left my multi tool behind, but they were able to locate it for me and coordinate getting it back to me. Very nice place for a stay
Awesome spot so close to a lot of outdoor adventures! The owner Jim was a hoot! Great storyteller! Clean and they had WiFi!
